Piccolo Piquette Red

Piccolo Piquette Red is a lightly sparkling red made from 100% Blaufränkisch (Frankovka) in Slovenia’s Štajerska/Podravje region. It’s bottle-fermented in the ancestral way, so you get small, lively bubbles and a very easy-going style, more about refreshment than structure.
Made with organic, low-intervention methods, it’s fermented with native yeasts, bottled unfined and unfiltered and may show a light natural sediment. No additives or heavy manipulation – just wine made as Matic’s family has done for generations.
In the glass, expect juicy dark cherry and mixed berries, lifted by a twist of orange zest and a subtle pine note. It’s sealed with a crown cap and left undisgorged, so open it gently and serve well chilled. A fun, thirst-quenching sparkling red for relaxed moments, picnics and simple food with friends.
