Sans Trêve is a white Jura wine made from Chardonnay and Savagnin growing together in an 80-year-old vineyard in Bersaillin. This old mixed planting is one of the details that makes the wine stand out, giving it a very connected and balanced character.
The site is known for its very clay-rich soils, which bring extra depth and texture, while direct pressing keeps the wine clear and focused. After that, the wine spends 3 years in barrel, gaining layers and a long, steady finish.
In the glass, Sans Trêve shows the oxidative side of Jura in a clean and precise way, with hints of dried fruit, citrus, apple, salinity and mineral tension. It is a white with energy, length and plenty of character, but it stays easy to follow and enjoyable to drink.
