Les Vrilles

Les Vrilles is a pure Chenin Blanc from Vouvray that shows off a bright, easygoing personality. Aged for a year on its fine lees in fiberglass tanks, it gains a gentle roundness and a fine texture without losing any of its lively character. Expect a flow of orchard-fruit aromas and a discreet mineral twist—thanks in part to the tuffaceous soils typical of the area—that create a balanced, fresh impression on the palate. Bottled under a crown cap, it retains an appealing spritz at first pour, which settles into a smooth sip after a moment in the glass.
