This Pinot Noir shows a more free and lively side of the variety. It comes from a 15-year-old vineyard on sandy soil and was made with semi-carbonic maceration, which gives the wine energy and a juicy, expressive character. After fermentation, it spent 8 months in older 450-litre oak barrels, adding shape without covering the fruit.
In the glass, you can expect notes of blackberry jam, plum and a light spicy touch. This is not a smooth, classic Pinot Noir. It is more rustic, vivid and a little wild, with plenty of movement and personality. Made with spontaneous fermentation, without fining or filtration, and bottled without added sulfur, it feels natural and alive from start to finish.
