La Figa is a natural red wine from the Empordà region in Catalonia, Spain. This blend of Garnacha and Carignan grapes undergoes carbonic maceration, where whole unpressed grapes ferment spontaneously using only natural yeasts from the environment. The winemaking process excludes clarification and sulfites, preserving the wine's natural character. Despite its name meaning "the fig" in reference to its label design, no figs are used in production. The result is a light and fresh wine.
