Le Vent is a light, easygoing Jura red built from a mix of Gamay, Pinot Noir and Petit Béclan. It comes from a frost-affected harvest, when the available grapes were brought together into one blended cuvée, giving the wine a spontaneous and very natural sense of balance.
After destemming, the grapes spent 10 days macerating together, then the wine was aged in tank to keep its freshness and clarity. The result is a red with notes of red berries, a gentle structure and a soft, fluid style. There is delicacy here, but also enough shape to keep it lively from start to finish.
A good choice for anyone who enjoys juicy, lighter reds with character and a strong sense of place.
