Dinavolo is an orange wine that truly captures the spirit of Piacenza’s hillside vineyards. Crafted from Malvasia di Candia, Ortrugo, Marsanne, and a long-forgotten local variety, it undergoes an extended skin maceration usually reserved for reds. This process creates a deep golden hue, light tannins, and complex fruit notes. Only wild yeasts are used, and the wine is left unfiltered and free of added sulfites, preserving its honest character. Thanks to the limestone soils and cool evening breezes, Dinavolo balances freshness with ample body. Over time, it continues to reveal new layers, making it both enjoyable now and rewarding to revisit later.
