Doccia Fredda

Doccia Fredda—Italian for “Cold Shower”—is a refreshing blend of Trebbiano d’Abruzzo and Passerina grown just inland from the Adriatic. Clay-calcareous soils and constant sea breezes shape the fruit, which is harvested by hand.

The juice macerates briefly on the skins (about 20 days for Trebbiano, five for Passerina), giving gentle texture and a pale golden hue. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts follows in stainless steel, and the wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered and without added sulphites, letting the grapes speak for themselves.

In the glass you’ll find bright notes of lemon, peach and a hint of pineapple, balanced by wild herbs and a clean, salty finish that recalls the nearby coast. Serve it cool alongside grilled seasonal vegetables, seafood pasta or a simple plate of young cheeses for an easy-going summer match.
