Ciclo Palhete is a unique wine from the Alentejo region near Estremoz, Portugal. It blends around 70% red grapes, mainly Aragonêz (Tempranillo), Castelão, and Trincadeira, with 30% white grapes including Arinto, Fernão Pires, Alicante Branco, and Tamarez. This combination results in a fresh, lightly structured wine with noticeable acidity. Expect clear and enjoyable flavors of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, balanced by pronounced tannins and ending in a dry, persistent finish. Produced with minimal intervention from manually harvested grapes, Ciclo Palhete captures the essence of natural winemaking, ideal for enjoying chilled on sunny days.
