Vinyes Singulars

Vinyes Singulars is a family winery in the Penedès region of Catalonia, with roots going back to 1405. Today, the estate is guided by the 23rd generation, led by winemaker Ignasi Sigui. Over the centuries, each generation has passed down a commitment to caring for the land and preserving local traditions.

Respect for nature is a key part of Vinyes Singulars’ approach. They farm their vines organically, supporting biodiversity and avoiding synthetic chemicals. In the cellar, they practice minimal intervention: no added sulfites or other additives, and no filtering or clarifying. This way, each wine reflects its grapes, soil, and vintage with honesty.

The winery grows native varieties like Xarel·lo and Macabeu, aiming to show off the special character of the Penedès region. By vinifying separate vineyard parcels, they keep each expression pure and unique. These wines are a direct link to the area’s history, but also show new ideas in how to protect and renew this land.

Through Vinyes Singulars, Ignasi Sigui continues his family’s long legacy. His goal is to respect what came before and keep it alive for the future. Whether you are new to natural wines or have followed them for a while, Vinyes Singulars offers a genuine taste of Catalonia’s deep heritage and a caring approach to winemaking.
