La Louve Noire is a single-plot red crafted in Roussillon from an unusually wide blend of grapes, including Syrah, Grenache (in three colors), Carignan (also in three colors), Muscat, Mourvèdre, Macabeu, Cinsault, Viognier, Chasselas, and Tannat. These vines, aged between 20 and 80 years, are grown organically and harvested by hand to keep their natural vibrancy. A short carbonic maceration brings out floral hints and notes of stewed red fruit and plum, while the palate remains juicy and fresh, with bright acidity and a subtle touch of spice. Made without fining or filtering, La Louve Noire is a genuine, approachable wine that pairs perfectly with Mediterranean dishes on sun-filled days.
