This wine comes from the historic Vino di Anna estate on Sicily's Mount Etna, where grapes grow in volcanic soils at elevations between 700-900m. The wine continues a decade-long tradition of fermentation in a 300-year-old palmento - a traditional Etnean winemaking building. The 2022 vintage reflects the winemaker's expertise in adapting to weather conditions, with an adjusted blend featuring 90% Nerello Mascalese complemented by local varieties including Carricante, which adds freshness and floral notes to balance the year's warm conditions.
