Unfinished Business 2024 is a white wine made entirely from Macabeu grapes grown in Cretas, Teruel (Aragón) and crafted in Arnes, Terra Alta. The vineyard sits on calcareous clay soils and is farmed with organic practices. 2024 was a hot, dry year with strong continental and Mediterranean influences, which shaped the grapes’ character.
The wine was foot-stomped and pressed with stems in a manual basket press, then fermented and aged for eight months in stainless steel. It was bottled by gravity without filtering, fining, or added sulphur, keeping it as pure as possible.
The result is a bright and refreshing expression of Macabeu, with fruity notes balanced by a subtle salty edge. Think of ripe peach touched with sea breeze. It’s a simple, fun white wine that fits just as well next to oven-roasted salmon as it does poolside with friends and potato chips.
