Slatnik is a skin-contact white wine produced by the Radikon family in Oslavia, Italy. Made from a blend of Chardonnay and Friulano grapes, it represents the continuation of Stanko Radikon's winemaking legacy since 1980. The wine comes from vineyards near the Slovenian border, where unique soil and microclimate shape its character. Following family tradition, the grapes undergo extended skin contact and lengthy aging in oak foudres, resulting in a deep, mineral-driven wine that pairs well with seafood and oily fish.
