Rituál is a Slovak red wine made entirely from Blaufränkisch, a Central European grape known for freshness, dark fruit and a firm, lively structure. The grapes come from the Carpathian hills near Bratislava, where granite bedrock with rocky and sandy layers helps shape the wine’s clean, focused character.
For this cuvée, Naboso fermented most of the destemmed grapes on the skins for three weeks, then aged the wine for one year in neutral oak barrels on the lees. The oak is not meant to dominate; it gives the wine time to settle and gain texture. Rituál also brings together two different harvests, chosen to balance their separate characters in one bottle. It is a low-intervention wine, but made with a clear aim: to be honest, drinkable and enjoyable.
