Riesling

This Riesling shows a very pure, lively side of the variety. The grapes come from a 30-year-old vineyard on loess soil, which gives the wine both freshness and a sense of place. After harvest, the bunches spend a short time macerating whole, then the wine rests for 11 months on gross lees in a large acacia barrel and is bottled straight from it.

Made with spontaneous fermentation and without fining or filtration, it keeps a natural, vivid feel in the glass. The result is a dry white wine with bright energy, a marked herbal note, and clear Riesling character. It feels honest and direct, with freshness at the front and enough depth from the lees ageing to make each sip more interesting. A good choice for anyone who enjoys expressive, low-intervention whites with personality.
