Just Grapes

Just Grapes is a light, dry red from a single vineyard called Stará vinice in Těšetice, in the Znojmo area of Moravia. It’s an unusual blend of Welschriesling (normally a white grape) and Zweigelt, giving the wine a playful mix of freshness and red fruit.
The grapes come from organically farmed vines and were fermented as whole bunches using carbonic maceration for 10 days in wooden vats. This gentle method boosts juicy fruit character and smooth tannins. After that, the wine spent 12 months in a large 1000 L Moravian oak foudre, resting on its lees, which adds a bit of texture and depth while keeping it easy to drink.
Just Grapes is bottled without fining, filtration or added sulfur, so you taste the grapes and place as directly as possible. A great choice for informal dinners, sharing with friends, or serving slightly chilled.
