Vetalarena

Vetalarena is a white wine that shows a more local side of Huelva. It is made from Listán del Condado, a traditional variety grown in sandy vineyards north of Doñana, where the landscape and sea influence give the wine its fresh and slightly salty character.

The grapes come from a 25-year-old vineyard with very low yields and are harvested by hand at the beginning of September. Fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel keeps the wine precise and pure, while time on the lees adds a smooth, silky texture.

In the glass, Vetalarena offers notes of pear, apple, soft citrus and white flowers, with hints of fennel, almond skin and a light mineral edge. Dry and lively on the palate, it has good energy, a clean persistent finish and a small bitter touch that makes it especially good with white fish, seafood, rice dishes or grilled vegetables.
