Paparazza by Lammidia is a lively sparkling wine from Abruzzo, crafted in the pet nat style with Trebbiano, Pecorino and Traminer. The blend changes each year, making every release a one-of-a-kind expression. Fermentation is spontaneous, without added sulphites, and the wine is left unfiltered for a natural character.
The name Paparazza has roots in the Abruzzo dialect, where it refers to a local clam and also recalls the click of a camera shutter. This connection reflects the wine’s link to both sea and mountains: its mineral freshness recalls the Adriatic, while the grapes come from vineyards in the inland hills.
On the palate, Paparazza shows bright citrus, hints of peach and pineapple, and a touch of earthiness, balanced by crisp acidity and a textured mouthfeel. A refreshing and authentic sparkling wine, it captures both the culture and landscape of Abruzzo in the glass.
