Pell de Mas Perdut

Pell de Mas Perdut is a lightly orange, very aromatic wine from Baix Penedès in Catalonia, made mostly from Muscat with a touch of Parellada. The grapes are harvested by hand and see a short time on the skins, which gives the wine its straw-yellow colour with golden, amber glints and a gentle texture rather than heavy tannins.
On the nose it is open and expressive, with notes of rose petals, citrus, ripe stone fruit, fresh pear and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth it stays surprisingly lean and fresh: a light, easy entry, lively acidity and a subtle salty touch that makes you want another sip.
Vinified with minimal intervention, without added sulfites, and bottled unfiltered, it keeps a very pure, clean character that reflects the grapes and place. It’s a relaxed wine to drink slightly chilled, perfect for an aperitif or to share with simple dishes like carpaccios, fresh starters, rice and semi-cured cheeses.
