Envínate La Santa de Úrsula is a red wine born from unique vineyards located in La Corujera, in the picturesque region of La Orotava, Tenerife. Crafted from century-old vines grown on volcanic soils at altitudes between 350 and 650 meters above sea level, this blend mainly includes Listán Negro and Negramoll grapes, with a small touch of Listán Blanco.
A notable feature of these vineyards is the traditional horizontal vine-growing method, providing natural shade that protects the grapes from Tenerife’s intense sunlight while allowing better airflow, which ensures healthier grapes. Harvested manually, each parcel is separately vinified using traditional local methods, including whole-cluster fermentation and carbonic maceration, bringing freshness and authenticity to the wine.
Aged for eight months in neutral French oak barrels, La Santa de Úrsula offers delicate aromas of red currants, cranberries, and cherries, complemented by herbal and mineral undertones. The wine is fresh and silky on the palate, marked by refined tannins and balanced elegance.
Perfect for enjoying alongside white meats or fish, La Santa de Úrsula captures the unique character of Tenerife's volcanic terroir in every sip.
