Arbois Chardonnay Grandcuroulet

Chardonnay Grandcuroulet from Domaine Ratte is a single-parcel white from the Grand-Curoulet vineyard in Arbois, right in the heart of the Jura. The vines grow on soils rich in fossils, which give the wine a clear mineral side as well as a smooth, rounded feel.
In the glass, it opens with notes of green apple, pear and a touch of citrus, followed by subtle hints of toasted hazelnut that reflect its Jura origins. On the palate it is precise yet generous, with lively acidity and a long, clean finish.
This is a Chardonnay that shows Jura character more than power: refined, mineral and food-friendly. It pairs very well with mushroom risotto, grilled fish or fresh and soft cheeses, whether you open it for a relaxed outdoor lunch or a quiet dinner at home.
