52ème Rue, Une Nuit, Un Oiseau is a Jura white built on contrast and balance. It blends Chardonnay from very old vines in La Chenaillotte with ouillé Savagnin from the limestone-rich slopes of Le Cul du Bray, bringing together round fruit, mineral tension and a gently oxidative Jura character.

The grapes are pressed together, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged on the lees in old 400-litre oak barrels. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, which helps keep its texture and depth. In the glass, it shows yellow fruit, plum, apple and quince, with notes of flowers, mild spice and almond paste. The palate is full but fresh, with a waxy feel and a long, saline finish.

The name is a nod to Charlie Parker and jazz culture, which suits a wine that feels both lively and layered. A very good match for creamy poultry dishes, river fish or Jura cheeses.
