Nucleo X Orange

Nucleo X Orange is an orange wine from Umbria, made entirely from Trebbiano grapes grown on clay soils near Lake Trasimeno at 550 meters above sea level. The grapes are harvested at the end of September and undergo spontaneous fermentation with four days of skin contact, followed by six months of aging in steel tanks. No chemical agents are used, and the wine is left unfiltered with no added sulphites, making it suitable for vegans.

Created by Progetto Agricolo Dinamo, a collaboration led by Danilo Marcucci and the Nofrini family, this wine reflects their vision of returning to the peasant traditions of Umbria—wines that once played an important role in daily nourishment and energy for farm workers. Inspired by the idea of “energy wines,” Nucleo X expresses the purity of its land while keeping alive the memory of simple, natural winemaking rooted in local history.

This is a straightforward yet characterful orange wine that connects the drinker with Umbrian countryside traditions while offering a clean and natural expression of Trebbiano.
