This white wine from Claudiu Dumea brings together several classic German grape varieties: Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Sylvaner, and Scheurebe. It comes from Landau, in the Palatinate region, where the vineyards grow on clay-limestone soils.
The winemaking combines different techniques. Some grapes are pressed directly, while others are left to macerate for up to 14 days. Fermentation happens naturally with native yeasts in used oak barrels. The wine then ages for 8 months in those same barrels, adding complexity while keeping the fresh character.
The result is a natural white wine that’s smooth and easy to enjoy, with a fresh and crisp profile.
