Miraflores Blanco Ancestral is an artisanal sparkling wine made from Palomino Fino grown in the Pago Miraflores area of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. The vines stand on albariza, the white chalky soil known for its high limestone content, which helps give the wine its fresh and mineral character.
The grapes are directly pressed and fermented in stainless steel, then the wine spends a long 50 months ageing in the bottle. Each bottle is disgorged by hand and topped up with the same wine, a careful step that keeps its character clear and natural. Expect a dry, fresh style with mineral notes, gentle floral hints and the salty touch often linked to wines from this part of Andalucía.
