La Charanga Flor Blanco is a Palomino white from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, made in a style that sits close to the world of traditional sherry but with the freshness of a still wine. The grapes come from old vines and are pressed directly before resting in an old bota, where the wine ages biologically under flor, a natural veil of yeast that shapes its character.
In the glass it shows a pale gold colour and a clear coastal profile. Expect delicate notes of almond, sea salt and brine, with a smooth, easy flow on the palate. It is a good choice for anyone curious about flor-aged wines, especially with olives, almonds, seafood, fried fish or simple tapas.
