Vierge Rouge

YoYo's Vierge Rouge is a unique red wine crafted from an uncommon blend dominated by Grenache Gris (80%), accompanied by Grenache Noir and Grenache Blanc. Originating from the picturesque region of Banyuls-sur-Mer in Roussillon, the grapes are sourced from vines aged around 80 years, planted on soils composed of gneiss and granitic sands. These old vines produce limited yields, enhancing the depth and character of the wine.

Crafted organically without added sulfites, the wine undergoes carbonic maceration using indigenous yeasts, bringing out vibrant fruitiness and freshness. It matures gently in seasoned 400-litre oak barrels previously used in Burgundy, preserving its authentic personality and balanced richness.
