Bala Roja is a natural red wine from Utiel-Requena, Valencia, crafted exclusively from Bobal grapes sourced from vineyards aged between 53 to 93 years old. Grown on sandy-clay soils surrounded by pine forests and mountains at an altitude of 650 meters, the grapes are harvested by hand and gently processed. After fermenting briefly with grape skins for five days, the wine matures for five months in French oak barrels. It’s bottled unfiltered, without additives or sulfites, maintaining its pure and natural character. Expect aromas of fresh red fruits like strawberries and cherries, complemented by hints of blueberries, spices, and subtle balsamic notes. In the mouth, it's fruity, balanced, and pleasantly acidic with soft tannins.
