Tunia’s Cantomoro is a red wine that brings together the spirit of Tuscany and the classic appeal of Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes, planted in 2005, are cultivated organically and ferment spontaneously with native yeasts. Unfiltered and unclarified, the wine retains its natural depth and character. After a long maceration to extract color and flavor, it spends months aging in a mix of steel tanks, large oak vats, and small casks before resting further in the bottle.
The result is a smooth wine with velvety tannins and bright acidity. You may notice notes of black cherries, green pepper, and light caramel, followed by subtle hints of blueberry, white pepper, and eucalyptus. Enjoy Cantomoro with slow-cooked stews, braised meats, game, or aged cheeses. For the best experience, open the bottle about 20 minutes before serving to let its aromas fully bloom and showcase all of its Tuscan charm.
