This Austrian orange wine from Carnuntum showcases old-vine Welschriesling grapes through traditional winemaking. The process includes six days of skin contact and natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by 11 months in used oak barrels. The wine balances the unique characteristics of Welschriesling with oak aging, making it a good match for both Iberian cured meats and hearty rice dishes.
