Sammay Tinto is a naturally made red wine from Catalonia that shines a spotlight on the Trepat grape, a variety rarely seen outside the region. Its short maceration, around five days, brings out vibrant red fruit and a lively acidity without overwhelming tannins. Fermented with native yeasts and left unfiltered and unfined, it stays true to its minimal-intervention roots, with no added sulfites. A few months on the lees in stainless steel adds a subtle roundness and depth. The result is a light, easygoing wine that offers a genuine taste of local character—perfect for casual gatherings or for anyone curious to discover the unique side of Spanish reds.
