TRBLMKR

TRBLMKR is Milan Nestarec’s love letter to Neuburger, a local Moravian grape that you don’t see very often anymore. Here it’s blended with just a touch of Malvasia and grown on loess soils in the Slovenské vineyard in Moravský Žižkov, farmed organically.
The wine starts out quietly but opens up if you give it some time in the glass. Expect gentle notes of apricot, quince and yellow apple, with a light, easy body and a soft creamy feel. There’s a subtle natural fizz that gives it extra lift and makes it very drinkable.
Neuburger doesn’t like shortcuts, so the grapes macerate as whole berries for about a week and then rest in a large old 3000L oak barrel for around two years. No fining, no filtration and no added sulfur mean you taste the grape and place as directly as possible. A calm, thoughtful white for when you want something characterful but still very approachable.
