Růž is a bright and relaxed Moravian rosé from Milan Nestarec, made from Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt. Its name simply means “pink” in Czech, and that says a lot about the wine: direct, easy to understand and made for drinking with pleasure.
The wine has a short maceration, then ferments spontaneously in stainless steel and wood. It is bottled without fining or filtration, with only a very small sulphur addition. The result is a dry, fresh rosé with lively fruit, gentle rustic charm and a clean, casual feel.
Served slightly chilled, Růž is a good choice for salads, vegetarian dishes, picnics or any moment when you want something light, honest and easy to share.
