Mátyás SaraDora #6 is a friendly and approachable orange wine from Slovakia, crafted as a blend of Pinot Blanc, Riesling, and Welschriesling grapes. First produced in 2013, this wine is named affectionately after Sara and Dora, the granddaughters of the winemaker, whose small handprints beautifully decorate the label.
SaraDora #6 combines grapes harvested from organic vineyards near the Drieňová hora nature reserve. It’s a careful blend of two vintages, 2020 and 2021, macerated for 14 days on the skins, aged in oak barrels, and bottled without filtration, showcasing a genuine, natural style.
Expect notes of dried apricots, pear, citrus, herbal tones, and a hint of minerality, creating a harmonious and elegant drinking experience. Perfect for grilled fish, lighter meats, or pork dishes served chilled at 10-11°C.
