La Clastre 2043 from Les Frères Soulier is not your typical rosé. Produced from young Syrah and Tempranillo vines, this wine uniquely blends grapes from two different harvests—2020 and 2023—using a distinctive multi-vintage approach. Both vintages are directly pressed rosés, which, when combined, result in a wine with rich complexity and depth. Grown on sandy soils covered with smooth quartz stones and facing north, the vineyard conditions significantly influence the wine's character.
The wine undergoes fermentation and aging in oak barrels without topping up, preserving its natural qualities without filtration or clarification. Expect refreshing citrus notes combined with a subtle richness that makes this rosé excellent for pairing with summer salads or grilled dishes. Enjoy it best from 2024 to 2029.
