Harrobia

Harrobia by Jade Gross is a limited-production red wine from Rioja Alavesa, crafted entirely from Tempranillo grapes. The fruit comes from the small “La Cantera” vineyard in Labastida, planted with 36-year-old bush vines at 600 meters altitude. This high-elevation site, with its clay-limestone soils, helps the vines stay balanced during hot years, giving the wine freshness and depth.

The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented in open tanks, which brings out vibrant fruit character and allows gentle oxygen exposure. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, the wine shows structure and finesse without overpowering the fruit.

This is Jade Gross’s first estate bottling, and only 1,790 bottles were made — a rare expression of Rioja's modern, terroir-focused style. Expect layers of forest berries, spice, and a lively mineral backbone.
