Morgon Classique comes from Jean Foillard's estate in Beaujolais, where generations of winemaking expertise meet traditional methods. The wine originates from 80-100 year old Gamay vines growing in clay-granite soils of Villié-Morgon. Following natural winemaking principles learned from Jules Chauvet, Foillard produces this wine through carbonic maceration with indigenous yeasts and whole clusters. This approach creates a red wine that expresses the pure character of its historic terroir.
