Vinya del Forner is a unique sparkling wine from Finca Parera, crafted entirely from the rare and local Sumoll grape variety. Grown in a special vineyard located between La Bebida Alta and Sant Llorenç d’Hortons in Catalonia, this wine is made using the traditional "blanc de noirs" method, producing a white sparkling wine from red grapes by gently crushing them by foot without pressing. It undergoes natural, wild fermentation directly in the bottle, maturing nearly two years before final disgorgement during a descending moon in spring—a detail inspired by traditional winemaking calendars. Its name pays tribute to a close family friend and trusted local baker, who encouraged the revival of the challenging Sumoll grape.
