Dasca Vives' Vinyater is a unique white wine that revives the forgotten Catalan grape variety, Vinyater. Once commonly used in blends, this grape fell out of favor when it wasn't included in official cava regulations. However, Dasca Vives recognized its hidden potential and began experimenting, eventually creating this single-variety wine from vineyards up to 50 years old. The winery's natural approach, with minimal filtration and almost no additives, preserves the authentic flavors of the grape. Expect fruity notes reminiscent of yellow apple, plum, white flowers, and a hint of citrus peel. It has a pleasant roundness, balanced acidity, and subtle complexity from gentle ageing.
