Encarinyades

Encarinyades is a wine that does not fit neatly into red or white. It brings together three local faces of Cariñena: Blanca, Gris and Carignan, grown in the same Catalan plot in Empordà. The idea behind it is to recover these native varieties and show their delicate but deep character.

The grapes have a short contact with skins and stems, then ferment naturally with native yeasts, mainly in stainless steel with a smaller part in clay amphora. The wine is bottled unfiltered, unclarified and without added sulphites. In the glass, expect red fruit, floral notes and a light mineral touch. It feels fresh and easy to drink, with enough structure to pair well with appetisers, poultry or white fish.
