Charles Le Bel Inspiration 1818 is a Champagne created from carefully selected base wines made by Billecart-Salmon. Each year, many parcels are vinified, then a tasting committee chooses only the lots that best fit the house style—these become Inspiration 1818.
The blend brings together Chardonnay (37%), Pinot Meunier (30%) and Pinot Noir (33%), with a strong core of reserve wines (70%) for added depth and continuity. In the glass you’ll notice fine, lively bubbles and a bright appearance. The nose leans toward brioche, almond and light buttery notes, followed by apple, pear and other white-flesh fruits, with a touch of Mirabelle plum and dried fruit. On the palate it stays well balanced: Pinot Noir gives structure, while Chardonnay keeps the finish fresh with citrus and a gentle pepper note.
