Cantina Vucica’s Highlander is a natural white wine crafted from the unique Pecorino grape variety grown in the Abruzzo region of Italy. This wine is notable for its authenticity, produced using only manual harvesting and hand-destemming. After a gentle 3-day maceration, Highlander matures for 18 months in steel tanks without filtration, clarification, or added sulfites, preserving its natural character. The resulting wine presents a hazy amber-yellow color with enticing aromas of ripe apricot and peach. In the mouth, it's juicy and fresh yet reveals a pleasantly surprising complexity and depth, making it a captivating choice for those seeking genuine and unconventional wines.
