Sr. Mae is the first wine made by the Método Hedonista winery. The 2019 vintage is only the second release of this cuvée to reach the market. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines planted in the 1980s near forested areas, Sr. Mae is a fresh, highly drinkable wine that still delivers classic notes of cassis and green pepper.
Each variety ferments separately in plastic vats, encouraging gentle micro-oxygenation without added tannins or cosmetic oak. Sixteen-year-old casks and amphorae round out the wine before a two-year rest in bottle. A timeless style made naturally—no gimmicks, just quality grapes and time.
