Matassa Rollaball is a natural rosé from Roussillon, made from Carignan and Monastrell, also known in France as Mourvèdre. The grapes come from older vines in the Les Myrs parcel, where black marl soils help give the wine its firm, mineral side.
The winemaking stays simple and low-intervention: a short maceration, gentle pressing, fermentation with native yeasts and ageing in concrete. The result is a rosé with freshness, red fruit character and more structure than many easy summer wines. It feels lively and open, but with enough depth to pair well with food. Try it with pizza, grilled vegetables, white meats, seafood or a relaxed table with friends.
