Pinot Noir River Sediments is a light, juicy red from South Moravia, made in a very gentle, natural way. The Pinot Noir grapes come from two vineyards, U sklepů in Dyjákovičky and U bunkru in Šatov, rooted in clay sediments of an ancient river valley – the soils that gave the wine its name.

Whole bunches are left for a 10-day semi-carbonic maceration in wooden vats, which boosts pure red fruit and gives a very fresh, smooth profile. After pressing, the wine matures in a mix of French oak barrels and traditional Moravian amphorae, bringing together subtle structure and a clean, unmasked expression of the grape.

The wine is neither filtered nor fined and is bottled with no added sulfur, so you taste Pinot Noir in a very direct, unadorned form. Ideal slightly chilled on its own, and easy to pair with lighter dishes such as fish, poultry or vegetable cuisine.
