Núria is a unique orange wine that blends two separate skin-fermented grapes—Xarel·lo from the Sant Joan Samora parcel and Muscat d’Alexandria from Torrelles de Foix in Penedès, Spain. Each variety ferments on its skins—Muscat for two weeks, Xarel·lo for three—before the juices are pressed off together and left to settle naturally in stainless steel over winter. The result is a richly textured wine with enticing notes of ripe stone fruits, floral hints, and a faint touch of savory green olive. Grown at an altitude of around 320 meters on sandy clay soils, Núria showcases a bright personality and a lovely balance between freshness and depth. Bottled in early spring without any added sulfur, it offers a pure expression of Mediterranean character that is sure to delight anyone curious about Spain’s thriving orange wine scene.
