Rosh from Lammidia is a fresh and lively red wine rooted in the Abruzzo tradition. It is made mainly from Montepulciano grapes with a touch of Trebbiano, a blend first discovered by chance after a small harvest that revealed how the white grape could soften and brighten the Montepulciano. The name “Rosh” comes from the local dialect for “red” and reflects its purpose as an everyday wine, easy to enjoy on many occasions.
The winemaking follows a natural approach: grapes are fermented spontaneously without additives, clarified, or filtration. A short semi-carbonic maceration with whole bunches gives juicy fruit flavors and soft tannins, while aging in steel preserves its freshness. Expect notes of cherries, strawberries, and dark berries, lifted by mouthwatering acidity and a smooth, approachable texture.
With its light character and natural vibrancy, Rosh is a simple but genuine expression of Abruzzo that can be enjoyed slightly chilled and shared casually at the table.
