Lammidia Rosato is a natural rosé made from 100% Montepulciano, crafted in Rocca San Giovanni on the Abruzzo coast. Davide and Marco, childhood friends turned winemakers, work with spontaneous fermentations, no additives, and no filtration, letting the grape speak for itself.
This rosé is made with hand-destemmed grapes and a short skin contact of around 18 hours, a style that was once the most common way Montepulciano was enjoyed in Abruzzo. Farmers used to drink it in the fields as a refreshing “energy drink” before heavier, more tannic styles became the standard.
Fresh and vibrant, it carries the scents of mountain flowers and offers flavors of wild strawberries, cranberries, and pomegranate, with touches of citrus and white pepper. A pleasant, light bitterness rounds off the finish, making it a lively, easy-to-drink wine that connects tradition with a modern natural touch.
