Socorro is a small-batch white made in collaboration between Antihype Wine and Jason Ligas, together with UWC Samos. It’s based on small-berried Muscat, grown on Samos at high altitude from 30–70 year-old bush vines rooted in schist soils. Farming is certified organic with a biodynamic mindset, relying mainly on hand work.
In the cellar, the wine follows a minimal-intervention path: free-run juice only, a long, gentle fermentation with no added yeast, and no filtration. It then rests in a mix of vessels—large oak, amphora, and concrete eggs—to build texture while keeping the grape’s natural lift. Finished with an organic cork and hand-waxed seal, Socorro is a characterful take on Muscat that feels pure and carefully made.
